Miguel Rivera is a licensed massage therapist residing in Bellingham, Washington. Through his training at Alaska Career College in Anchorage, Alaska, Miguel completed 920 hours of thorough training. He is well-versed in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and assisted stretching techniques. He is also certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CLT) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS) and completed a 135-hour Complete Lymphedema Certification training program in 2024.

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Miguel enjoyed spending time outdoors; hiking, swimming, surfing, camping, late-night bonfires, the list goes on. He grew up in a family that loved to dance, from salsa and merengue to hip-hop and pop. After serving in the United States Air Force, Miguel’s goals had evolved to wanting to help his community. He got his EMT license and went to nursing school for 3 years before discovering his true passion: massage therapy. With advanced knowledge of kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology from years of medical training, Miguel’s treatments are tailored with both therapeutic intention and attention to detail.
